Vintage Gucci GG Supreme Bifold Wallet c. 2010s Beige Brown

Florence, early 2010s: the Gucci atelier was in the midst of a quiet material shift, moving from the gloss of GG Plus to the matte precision of GG Supreme. This bifold wallet comes from that interval, its beige GG monogram canvas trimmed in brown leather and finished with a silver-tone bar clasp engraved in the house’s serif logo. The exterior canvas holds shape with a subtle stiffness, the corners showing only minor rubs; the clasp closes with a muted click, bearing fine scratches from use.

Inside, a warm brown leather lining frames six card slots and a zippered coin compartment, the structure designed for everyday function without excess. The interior is lined in matching brown fabric, with storage for bills and notes.

Frida Giannini’s direction at Gucci was defined by this return to house codes — the GG Supreme canvas was not nostalgia but a new standard, introduced mid-decade for its durability and clarity of print. This piece carries that material legacy, accompanied by its original box.
