Vintage Gucci Bracelet Watch Gold-Tone Black Dial Late 1980s

Rectangular gold-tone metal frames a deep black dial, the surface broken only by the crisply printed GUCCI logo at twelve and slim gold hands. The bracelet links are articulated and sit flush to the wrist, closing with a signed clasp engraved in the same serif font as the dial. Light surface scratches and oxidation are visible on the metal, particularly at the clasp and bracelet edges; the watch retains a balanced weight in hand.

Construction is precise — gold-tone metal body, black dial, gold-tone clasp with micro-adjustable links. The caseback is stamped with the GUCCI crest and a ‘1300’ reference, while the serial number is cleanly impressed along the reverse. The original Gucci dust bag is included.

This bracelet watch belongs to Gucci’s Dawn Mello revival, c. late 1980s–early 1990s, marked out by the restrained serif logo and the crest detail on the caseback. Mello’s years were about discipline after excess, paring the catalogue to essentials and letting quiet details — the sharp logo, the unobtrusive dial — do the work.
