Vintage Versace Couture Canvas Tote Mid-1990s Black Gold

Braided leather handles curve over matte black canvas, leading the eye straight to the raised gold-tone Medusa head set into the front panel—three-dimensional, unmistakable, a flash of Gianni Versace’s baroque bravado in functional form. The body is softly structured, trimmed with smooth black leather at the base and edges, while a concealed magnetic snap secures the top opening.

Inside, the black fabric lining reveals a single zip pocket and two slip organizers, all cleanly finished. Minor wear is visible at the bottom corners, the only sign of use on the exterior; the handles remain tightly braided, the Medusa hardware crisp and bright.

A black-on-white GIANNI VERSACE COUTURE label with zigzag border, stitched just below the opening, places this tote in the mid-1990s—one of the last years before the house’s founder signed his name to a collection. The original dust bag is included.
