Vintage Fendi Zucca Monogram Structured Tote Late 1980s Brown

Gold-tone snap hardware punctuates the top edge of structured FF Zucca canvas, the monogram's dark brown and black grid carrying through to the double rolled-leather handles. The bag’s silhouette is defined and upright, with a pronounced base and squared corners softened just enough by wear.

Trimmed in smooth dark brown leather, this Fendi tote is lined in matching leather and fitted with a full-width zipped pocket and a single slip compartment inside. The handles are built for the hand; there is no provision for shoulder or crossbody carry. The gold-tone rectangular plaque inside reads ‘FENDI / Made in Italy’ in serif capitals, with serial code stamped at the seam. Corner scuffing and a touch of wear on the handles attest to regular use, while the structure remains sound.

The tobacco Zucca canvas and unembellished gold-tone hardware place this piece in the late 1980s to early 1990s, during Karl Lagerfeld’s long direction at Fendi. The disciplined geometry of the FF monogram — first drawn by Lagerfeld in 1965 — is the defining mark of this era.
