Vintage Comme des Garçons PVC Zip Pouch Red Cream

A row of cream circles punctuates transparent red PVC, each one set in relief against the glossy surface, catching the light with a clinical precision that could only belong to a Comme des Garçons accessory. The pouch is constructed from clear PVC with bold fabric accents, its edges cleanly finished and the silver-tone zipper left unbranded — a deliberate absence of logo, in keeping with the house’s anti-signature stance.

Inside, a shock of bright pink fabric lines a single main compartment, the contrast visible through the translucent shell. Designed for handheld carry, the silhouette remains sharp and unfussy, with minor scuffing to the edges as the only concession to use.

This pouch arrives from the ambiguous territory between utility and object, a space Rei Kawakubo’s studio has occupied since the 1980s. No model or label is visible; the construction and materials place it firmly among Comme des Garçons’ ongoing experiments with nontraditional textiles and graphic interventions.
