Vintage Loewe Leather Pouch c. Late 1990s Beige

Madrid, late 1990s — the atelier floor quiet, sunlight on smooth beige leather as the Loewe team worked lines free of visible branding, letting the leather and cut speak for themselves. This compact pouch is defined by its seamless silhouette, the sole interruption a silver-tone zipper running cleanly across the top edge. The hand-sized form slips easily into a larger bag or can be carried alone, with the only hint of ornament found inside: a black fabric lining patterned with the house’s Anagram logo and LOEWE wordmark.

The interior is a single open compartment, finished in crisp black textile, the zipper pull plain and unmarked. Accompanied by the original box marked 'LOEWE MADRID' in serif type — an echo of the house’s pre-Anderson era packaging. No serial or interior label is visible.

This pouch arrives from the late Narciso Rodriguez or early José Enrique Oña Selfa period, when Loewe’s Anagram motif repeated in subtle linings rather than exterior logos. Condition is excellent, with no notable marks to the leather or hardware.
