Vintage Yves Saint Laurent Bifold Wallet Late 1990s Black Brown

A fine line of the YSL Cassandre monogram is pressed into jet black leather, the only ornament on a compact bifold wallet that carries the mood of a late 1990s Paris atelier. The surface is smooth, with the exterior pared back to its essentials—edges softened by gentle wear, the corners showing a trace of the city’s passage. Inside, a deep brown leather lining divides the interior into two compartments, stamped in gold with the full Yves Saint Laurent name in serif capitals.

This construction belongs to the Tom Ford era, when the house was defined by a sharper silhouette and a certain spare sensuality. The Cassandre logo—drawn in 1961 by A.M. Cassandre—sits quietly embossed on the front, while the only hardware is the gilt foil mark within. Accompanied by its original box.
