Vintage Marni Saffiano Leather Structured Crossbody Bag c. 2018 Cream Orange Black

Colour-blocked panels in cream, orange and black textured saffiano leather meet at sharp, geometric seams, the surface interrupted only by a single line of spaced gold MARNI lettering across the front. Gold-tone hardware frames the exposed top zipper, while a navy fabric lining reveals two divided compartments within — designed for everyday function but with the tension of sculpture. The adjustable leather strap allows crossbody or shoulder carry, suited to any wardrobe.

Construction is notably crisp, with gold-tone zipper teeth and small rivets anchoring the strap; the leather shows light surface marks and the strap minor edge wear, but the silhouette remains intact with no accessories retained. No visible logo beyond the front stamp — a deliberate minimalism.

This bag sits at the edge of Consuelo Castiglioni's last years and Francesco Risso's arrival at Marni, circa 2016–2020. The saffiano leather and Milanese palette — cream, orange, black — mark it as a product of a house known for its art-world eye and its refusal of pure neutrality.
