The blind-embossed Anagram logo sits subtly at the corner of this compact bifold wallet, its four tightly interlocked Ls pressed into the grain of deep brown leather — a quiet signature from Loewe, present without overt branding or text. The exterior is cut from robust grained leather, softly pebbled and structured at the fold; the edges reveal faint scuffing, a trace of its previous use.
Opening with a gold-tone snap closure, the interior is lined in a matching brown leather and organised with a main bill compartment and multiple card slots, each precisely stitched. The hardware is unmarked, in keeping with Loewe’s understated approach to accessories from this era; there are no visible serial numbers or maker’s stamps.
The form and finish are consistent with late 1990s to early 2000s Loewe small leather goods, produced under the direction of Narciso Rodriguez and, subsequently, José Enrique Oña Selfa. The classic Anagram — introduced in 1970 by Vicente Vela — is the only overt branding, reflecting the house’s preference during this period for tactile materials and restrained detail. Made in Spain.
