This vintage Givenchy long coat is tailored in a rich black wool blend with a satin lining, finished in a clean full-length silhouette with notched lapels, structured shoulders, a softly fitted waist and dual flap pockets at the hips. From the Givenchy Nouvelle Boutique line, the maison's Japanese-market diffusion produced under Daiichi in the 1980s and 90s — Givenchy was founded in Paris in 1952 by Hubert de Givenchy and reinterpreted for Japan with these tailored separates of quietly couture sensibility.

The coat carries the original "GIVENCHY Nouvelle Boutique" satin neck label with "Made in Japan" inscription at the inside seam.

Condition Details: The wool is structurally clean with no holes, moth damage, tears or major stains. There is light surface lint and minor fuzzing typical of vintage wool, easily removed with brushing. The black colour remains deep and even, the lining is intact with normal storage wrinkling, the buttons are all present and the silhouette holds beautifully on the mannequin. The mannequin in the photos is size 38/M.
