Dense black jacquard forms a geometric field of slantwise Dior monograms, the motif broken only by the sweep of black leather trim and the glint of a gold-tone zipper. The pouch holds a softly structured silhouette, opening with a leather-tipped zip pull to reveal a beige fabric-lined interior fitted with two slip pockets. Designed for handheld or clutch carry, it arrives with its original box.
The Oblique pattern—navy on beige, set at a diagonal—first appeared on Dior luggage in the early 1970s, drawn under Marc Bohan and quickly stamped on the house’s identity. This example, with its absence of dated branding and classic monogram weave, is typical of the late 1970s to 1980s, when Dior’s Paris ateliers turned out small leather goods built for the glovebox or a train compartment.
Textile and trim show only light edge wear; the gold-tone hardware remains bright. No interior label or serial is visible, monograms crisp throughout. A clear, functional piece from Dior’s monogram era, intended for daily carry or to slip inside a larger bag.
