This vintage Balenciaga wristlet is finely crafted of soft black leather with the maison's interlocking BB monogram blind-embossed on the front and accented with gold-tone hardware including a Balenciaga-engraved side stud and a logo zipper pull. Founded in 1917 in San Sebastián by Cristóbal Balenciaga and based in Paris from 1937, the house has long been associated with quietly rigorous European leatherwork — seen here in the stripped-back silhouette of this everyday pouch.

The wristlet features a top zip closure, a wrist strap and a discreet rear zip pocket, opening to a black-and-cream striped fabric interior with a slip pocket, an interior zip pocket and a gold-tone "Balenciaga Paris" plaque, with an interior care label and authenticity tag numbered 178-08.
